Ongoing program of ekphrastic poetry (poetry inspired by visual art) with Poets on the Coast.
Peabody-Essex Museum - Salem, Massachusetts (PEM)
Created and implemented a series of poetry workshops over three years based on visiting exhibits. Sponsored in conjunction with the Mass Poetry Festival.
Seattle Art Museum - Seattle, WA (SAM)
Created generative poetry workshops using ekphrastic poetry (poetry based on visual art) in collaboration with, and as a benefit for, Hedgebrook.
Created programming with GAP funding to bring poets together to write poems based on the museum’s permanent collection; also, taught a day-long class on ekphrastic poetry.
